Japan Helicopter and Aeroplane Transports Company is an airline company founded on December 27 1952. It was the earliest ancestor of ANA. All Nippon Airways’ International Air Transportation Association airline code, NH came from Nippon Helicopter. Its other ancestor was Far East Airline, which later merged with All Nippon Airways in March 1958.
